Collegiate business consulting has been successfully proven for more than 50 years in Europe. With Pareto Business Solutions (PBS) the concept gets introduced to New Zealand for the first time. Our purpose is to create value for local businesses in the Nelson Tasman region by connecting them with our young professionals. Collegiate business consulting is all about creating win-win situations: Providing fresh thinking, innovative ideas and access to the future workforce and potential employees to local businesses and at the same time providing a great learning opportunity, trainings and a business-network to students and graduates from multiple disciplines. The feedback from the business community in Nelson has been outstanding and we are looking forward to contributing to the Nelson Tasman region’s prosperity.

Peter has worked on global consulting projects in Europe, America and China, as a business consultant focusing on market strategy, sales and pricing. While completing a Master of Applied Management program at NMIT, Peter realized that the concept of collegiate business consulting is relatively new to Australasia. He decided to start New Zealand’s first collegiate business consultancy: Pareto Business Solutions (PBS) based at the Mahitahi CoLab in Nelson.
