To make sure you get official and up to date COVID-19 information and advice the NZ Government has created the website COVID19.govt.nz which covers all things COVID-19. Business.govt.nz is also a very useful site for up to date information.

COVID-19 Individuals and Families

COVID-19 Small Business Cashflow Scheme (SBCS)
The Government has introduced the Small Business Cashflow (loan) Scheme (SBCS) to support businesses and organisations struggling because of loss of revenue as a result of COVID-19. The scheme has been extended to 31 December 2020.

Wage Subsidy and Leave Payment Schemes
The Ministry of Social Development administer the wage subsidy and leave payment scheme. To find out more about these go to www.workandincome.govt.nz/covid19support
Inland Revenue does not administer these schemes.
